Merry Christmas!!! How I Spent My Christmas...

Thursday was Christmas, and for a lot of people, it means spending time with your family. My family and I are one of those people. My family went to jersey to my cousin’s house to spend time with the rest of the family. It’s a tradition that we do every year since me and my cousins were babies. My cousin cooks dinner for us, well everyone gambles and has fun. I think that Christmas is an important time for people to spend time together, if it’s their family, friends, loved ones, etc. It’s just a time when everyone can distress and enjoy time spent with people they love. The presents giving part is also fun, but mostly focused more on children, since it is the children who mostly receive presents. Christmas is a day where you don’t need to work about your job or anything else; it’s that day when you can just live in the moment. Of course, there are three different types of Christmas, the Christmas spent with family, friends, loved ones, etc. (which is the Christmas I had, and which a lot of Americans have), the religious Christmas, where people focus on the religious aspect behind Christmas (which isn’t that popular in America anymore considering that we have people of so many different backgrounds and religions), and finally, the Hallmark Christmas, where people buy presents for each other and give Christmas cards (this is the one Americans mostly celebrate, in combination with a family Christmas.) People like to combine the hallmark Christmas and the family Christmas together. All together, my Christmas was a lot of fun, as it was time spent with my family. I hope that everyone had a merry Christmas, and happy holidays everyone!
